PilotMyX vs Zoho Social in 2026: X intelligence vs multi-channel operations

PilotMyX is the sharper choice for one X account where original posts, replies, and a permissioned AI-agent workflow matter. Zoho Social is the better operating system for a brand or agency publishing across many channels with an inbox, approvals, reporting, and Zoho CRM or Desk handoffs.

Key takeaways
  • PilotMyX is built around one connected X account, while Zoho Social supports a published multi-network channel set for brands and agencies.
  • PilotMyX Basic and Growth analyse original X posts and replies written by the account separately or together; Starter analyses posts only.
  • PilotMyX MCP permissions split analytics, drafts, scheduling, and immediate publishing, so an agent need not receive blanket write access.
  • Zoho Social Premium adds a unified inbox, content approvals, custom reports, custom roles, and Zoho CRM and Desk integrations.
  • Zoho Social Agency includes 10 clients, five team members, client invitations, portal customisation, scheduled reports, and agency-branded reports.
  • PilotMyX cannot schedule replies and does not publish an agency workspace, approval, or white-label reporting feature.
  • Zoho Social pricing varies by country and data centre, so its published US annual prices are not a universal quote.

These tools only overlap at the word “social.” PilotMyX is a focused X product: one connected account, analytics that can separate posts from replies, a calendar, and MCP tokens that let an AI client read, draft, schedule, or publish only within permissions chosen by the owner. Zoho Social is a conventional social suite with a much wider job. It publishes to a published set of networks, keeps a calendar, inbox, monitoring columns, approvals, reports, and Zoho CRM or Desk integrations in one workspace. Choose PilotMyX if your distribution insight lives in one X account and you want an agent to work from authorised account data. Choose Zoho Social if the real challenge is coordinating a brand or client portfolio across channels. The price comparison needs context: PilotMyX Basic is $33.33 per month on annual billing, while Zoho Social Premium is $40 per month on annual billing and brings three team members, 16 channels, approvals, custom reports, and Zoho integrations.

PilotMyX is not trying to be a social suite. It takes one connected X account and makes its posts, replies, account metrics, timing patterns, drafts, and scheduled publications usable in the same place. Basic and Growth can distinguish original posts from replies written by the account, then filter, rank, and compare periods. That is useful for a founder or creator whose best distribution happens in conversations as well as standalone posts. Starter imports posts only and covers the latest 30 days, while Basic adds posts and replies across 90 days and Growth retains full imported history.

The calendar is practical but deliberately bounded. A draft can contain text, up to four ordered images with alt text, or a quoted X-post link. It can be published immediately or scheduled, edited, rescheduled, or cancelled. PilotMyX allows a minute within the chosen hour, but it cannot schedule replies. Published allowances are also real limits: Starter, Basic, and Growth allow 30, 100, and 300 posts or quotes per month respectively, with smaller quote-or-link caps. Threads count per post and quote or link posts count against both relevant limits.

Its distinctive feature is MCP access. The owner can separately allow account analytics reads, draft reads, draft or media editing, calendar scheduling or cancellation, and immediate publishing. The documentation recommends read-only access first, separate tokens for agents or devices, expiry dates, and revocation when no longer needed. Every plan includes MCP, but PilotMyX does not publish a general developer API, multi-network calendar, agency workspace, approval flow, or white-label reports. Basic is the practical plan for anyone who learns from replies, even though its annual equivalent is $33.33 per month.

Zoho Social

Multi-channel publishing, engagement, reporting, approvals, and Zoho CRM or Desk workflows for brands and agencies

Zoho Social has the wider operational job. Its workspace covers content creation and scheduling, engagement, selected monitoring streams, and reporting for individual brands, teams, and agencies. The published channel list includes Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Mastodon, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Arattai, WhatsApp Business, and Telegram Business where eligible. Standard and Professional list 14 channels for one brand, Premium lists 16, and Free has six. This is the right shape for a team that cannot run its calendar around one X account.

The collaboration threshold is Premium. That plan includes three team members, a unified inbox for eligible X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn Company Page messages, custom reporting, publishing approvals, custom roles, UTM parameters, and Zoho CRM and Desk integrations. Professional adds five monitoring columns, while Premium raises that to 15 and adds SmartQ suggested posting times. The agency plans add 10 or 20 clients, five team members, client invitations, agency branding, scheduled reports, and free client logins. The product is more than a queue, though the depth of inbox, monitoring, and reporting varies by channel and plan.

US annual billing lists Free, $10 Standard, $30 Professional, $40 Premium, $230 Agency, and $330 Agency Plus per month. The country and data-centre warning matters because those figures are not universal. Premium is unusually close in price to PilotMyX Basic while solving a much larger team and channel problem. It is not, however, an X-specialist analysis tool: the reviewed materials do not promise PilotMyX-style reply-versus-original-content analysis or scoped MCP controls. Zoho does not publish a public Social API entitlement in the reviewed product and pricing materials.

Which should you choose?

A founder who wins attention through original X posts and repliesPilotMyX Basic
A supervised agent that must not receive blanket publishing accessPilotMyX
A brand publishing to several social channelsZoho Social
A small team needing approvals, a shared inbox, and custom reportsZoho Social Premium
An agency that needs client invitations and branded scheduled reportsZoho Social Agency
A posts-only X habit on a low annual pricePilotMyX Starter

PilotMyX wins only when its narrowness is the point. It gives an X-first operator a clean loop from account evidence to the next post, plus a sensible permission model for an AI assistant. Zoho Social wins the normal business comparison because its calendar, inbox, monitoring, approvals, reporting, CRM or Desk connections, and agency plans cover work that PilotMyX does not claim to handle. Treat these as different tools for different operating models, not substitutes with different price tags.

Bottom line

Choose PilotMyX Basic if one X account is a serious distribution asset, replies deserve analysis beside original posts, and you want a scoped MCP workflow that can be supervised before anything is published. Choose Zoho Social Premium for a multi-channel internal team that needs a real social workspace with three members, 16 channels, approvals, custom reports, an inbox, and Zoho integrations at its published US annual price of $40 per month. Agencies should look directly at Zoho Social Agency rather than trying to stretch PilotMyX into a client-management tool.

Frequently asked questions

Is PilotMyX or Zoho Social better for a founder whose X replies drive most of their visibility?

PilotMyX Basic is the better fit for a founder whose X replies matter because it can analyse original posts and replies written by the connected account separately or together. Zoho Social supports X within a wider social suite, but the reviewed profile does not publish an equivalent reply-versus-original-post analysis workflow.

Can an AI agent schedule X posts safely through PilotMyX in 2026?

PilotMyX can let a compatible AI agent schedule X posts through MCP only when the owner grants the relevant permission scope. Analytics reads, draft editing, scheduling, and immediate publishing are separate permissions, and the owner can use expiry dates, separate tokens, and revocation to keep that access bounded.

Which Zoho Social plan includes approvals, custom reports, and Zoho CRM integration?

Zoho Social Premium is the first published plan that includes content approvals, custom reports, a unified inbox, custom roles, and Zoho CRM and Desk integrations. Its reviewed US price is $40 per month billed annually, but Zoho states that pricing varies by country and data centre.

Can either tool manage agency clients with branded social media reports?

Zoho Social Agency can manage agency clients with branded social media reports because it includes 10 clients, client invitations, portal customisation, scheduled reports, and agency branding. PilotMyX does not publish an agency workspace, client approvals, or white-label reporting feature.

Does PilotMyX schedule replies on X the way a social media team might need?

PilotMyX does not schedule replies on X. It can schedule original posts with text, up to four ordered images with alt text, and quoted-post links, so a reply-led engagement programme still needs a separate manual response workflow.
