Quick verdict

AdProtektor suits Google Ads and Meta advertisers who want to investigate suspicious paid traffic and send eligible exclusions automatically. It distinguishes a block decision from a successful platform exclusion, rather than treating a dashboard estimate as recovered spend. Standard covers one low-volume site, while Pro adds AI Person Analysis, more domains, and longer retention.

Pros and cons

Pros
  • Google Ads exclusions can be written automatically at account or selected-campaign level, with an exclusion log and no OAuth token to refresh
  • Meta protection maintains a Custom Audience of eligible blocked visitors hourly, including removal of expired or unblocked entries
  • Detection combines a persistent browser identity with device, behavioural, and network signals instead of relying on an IP address alone
  • Every paid fraud-protection plan includes flagged-session recording, while retention rises from Standard to Enterprise
  • ConversionOS can send eligible, deduplicated conversion events to Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads, and GA4
Cons
  • Google IP exclusions and Meta audience membership are separate from the platform processing that ultimately determines whether an exclusion applies
  • False positives remain possible, and the product asks customers to tune thresholds and whitelist known legitimate visitors
  • AI Person Analysis is available on Pro and above, not on the $84-per-month Standard plan
  • The paid product covers Google Ads and Meta protection, not Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or TikTok Ads exclusion workflows
  • ConversionOS is an add-on to fraud-protection plans, and the add-on price is shown only at checkout

What is AdProtektor?

AdProtektor is a click-fraud protection product for Google Ads and Meta traffic. After tracking is installed, it gives each browser and device a persistent visitor identity, then combines device, behavioural, and network signals to score paid visits. Its labels include Real, Crawler, Bot, Competitor, and Click Farm, though the documentation says those are assessments rather than proof of intent or employer.

The protection paths differ by platform. Eligible blocked Google Ads IP addresses can be added to the account or selected campaigns. Eligible Meta visitors are placed in a Custom Audience that the advertiser applies as a campaign exclusion, with membership maintained hourly. A local block does not prove Google or Meta accepted, matched, or applied an exclusion.

ConversionOS is available as an add-on or standalone True Tracking. It records supported events through store integrations, browser events, or a custom API, checks configured fraud signals, deduplicates eligible events, and reports delivery to Meta, Google Ads, and GA4. It provides an event-level trail, not proof that every remaining conversion is human.

Core features

Persistent visitor identity and traffic classification

AdProtektor assigns one visitor identity to one browser on one device, so it can remain the same through an IP, VPN, or network change. Device characteristics, behaviour, and network history contribute fraud evidence, while clearing site data or using another browser starts a new identity. Visits are classified as Real, Crawler, Bot, Competitor, or Click Farm, but a category is an assessment, not proof of who a visitor is.

Rules, AI analysis, and manual controls

Protection is configured per website through click protection, website enforcement, and AI-influence settings. Google Ads click-frequency rules act when eligible ad-landing sessions exceed a chosen threshold in a chosen period, so page views after one arrival do not inflate the rule. Pro and Enterprise add AI Person Analysis; users can separately control its influence and manually block, unblock, whitelist, bulk-unblock, or export CSV block lists.

Google Ads exclusion sync and refund evidence

Google Ads connects through an MCC manager invitation using a Customer ID, rather than an OAuth token. Eligible blocked IPs can be sent to the connected account or selected campaigns, and the exclusion log records what was written and when without changing manual exclusions. A refund report supplies invalid-click data for a claim the advertiser files with Google, but Google does not automatically refund a detected click and campaign IP-exclusion limits apply.

Meta audience protection and conversion destinations

For Meta, AdProtektor adds eligible blocked visitors to a Custom Audience and maintains it hourly, including removals after expiry or unblocking. The advertiser applies that audience to campaigns, and Meta matching plus campaign configuration affect coverage. With ConversionOS, Meta Pixel and Conversions API events share an event ID for deduplication, and the product can also deliver eligible events to Google Ads and GA4.

Session recordings, store integrations, and ConversionOS

Session recording captures flagged visitors for review beside the person profile and classification evidence. Every paid plan includes it, with clean-session replays retained for 7, 30, or 60 days and fraud evidence for 30, 60, or 90 days across Standard, Pro, and Enterprise. The site documents WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, BigCommerce, Google Tag Manager, and custom HTML installation; ConversionOS can capture WooCommerce orders and supported form leads server-side.

Who it is for

Google Ads teams with a repeat-click problem

A search advertiser that needs to set a paid-landing-session threshold, investigate evidence, and push eligible IP exclusions to campaigns will find this workflow more relevant than generic ad monitoring.

Meta and ecommerce advertisers protecting signal quality

A Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom-store advertiser that wants a maintained Meta exclusion audience and fraud-aware conversion delivery to Meta, Google Ads, and GA4 is the clearest fit.

Agencies starting with one client property

An agency can trial the system on a client website, share blocks and session evidence, then use Enterprise when its 20-domain and 10-seat allowance fits active accounts. It should not promise that every exclusion becomes a refund.

Verdict

AdProtektor earns a 7.9 because it separates detection, blocking, and platform delivery while exposing practical false-positive controls. Standard is fair for a smaller account, but Pro adds the AI analysis, retention, and domain capacity missing at entry level. Narrow platform coverage and separately priced ConversionOS keep it below a broader paid-media operating platform.

Recommendation: Choose AdProtektor when Google Ads or Meta invalid traffic is a documented operational problem and your team will review evidence, tune rules, and verify the exclusion logs. Start on Standard for one site under 5,000 monthly ad clicks, then move to Pro only if the AI controls, extra domains, or 30-day replays solve a recurring need.

Frequently asked questions

How does AdProtektor stop suspicious Google Ads clicks from returning?

AdProtektor can submit eligible blocked IP addresses to a linked Google Ads account or selected campaigns and records the submission in an exclusion log. The connection uses a manager-account invitation, while Google controls applying exclusions and invalid-traffic refunds.

Can AdProtektor exclude blocked people from Facebook and Instagram campaigns?

AdProtektor maintains eligible blocked visitors in a Meta Custom Audience that an advertiser can add as an exclusion to Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Membership updates hourly, but Meta matching, processing, and campaign setup determine coverage.

What is included in AdProtektor Pro compared with Standard?

AdProtektor Pro adds AI Person Analysis, 30-day session replays, 60-day fraud evidence, up to 10 domains, up to 40,000 monthly clicks, three seats, and premium live-chat support. Standard costs $84 per month for one domain, 5,000 monthly clicks, one seat, 7-day replays, and 30-day fraud evidence.

Does AdProtektor ConversionOS replace Meta Conversions API for a Shopify store?

ConversionOS sends eligible conversions to Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API with a shared event ID for deduplication, while also supporting Google Ads and GA4. Shopify stores still need the storefront script, Custom Pixel, signed webhook, consent configuration, and destination checks.
